Chemistry has been one of my top favourite classes ever. I love math and science and chemistry the best combination of both. I love how this class is beyond interesting and it just makes you naturally develop a desire to learn more and be committed. I am profoundly sad to know that I will not have this class next semester, and I can say that I will miss this class very much. I wasn’t only able to learn but I got to help others. Helping is a great passion of mine. Since I am really interested in chemistry and I truly love it, I was able to pick it up fast. When you like something you want to know more and understand it. Since I love learning, facing challenges and working with hard questions isn’t a burden. Students usually get stressed when they aren’t able to pick up a concept quickly and give up. Since I have witnessed that, with my learning and knowledge, I wanted to change that. I took the challenge to explain to my classmates what we were working on, like Einstein says, “If you can't explain it to a six-year-old, you don't understand it yourself”. I did my best and I can see that through my classmates understanding. They are really happy with my help which makes me even happier. I am glad that I did this because I know many people need help. I am glad I contribute to my class in such positive ways. You may ask “how can you do this?”, and I might respond, “I keep my work and myself organized”. In class, I take the opportunity to take notes and improve my understanding of the subject. I took notes on key points of the subject and things that I know will be useful in the future such as, equations, laws and symbols. I divide the subject into different sections with Roman Numerals. Each number has different detailed information on what that topic is about. However, even if I try my best to be organized there are areas I need to improve on. Sometimes I have to take time to find my notes in my notebook, which can be difficult at times. What I would change or improve is labelling the pages with numbers and dates. I know that we write the dates on our warm-ups but I don’t on assignments. Why would I label the pages with numbers? I usually have a table of contents at the beginning so I can know what I’ve done and where to find it. Even though I don’t have that I still keep track of my assignments. I know where they are because I put the title of the assignment on top of every page. From that I know where they are. I also know when they’re due because we have Edmodo since that’s the website where we can find all assignments and I usually know when it’s due because I’m working on it in class.

These pages show how I organize my notes and assignments. I put the title of the Assignment on top and I staple the page of questions on it so I don’t have to write the questions in my notebook. For my general notes in class, you can see how I write my notes, mentioned before, in Roman Numerals so I can divide the topics in the same subject with their own different details.
